Jersey Shore Crash Blocks Route 9 (Developing)

A crash during rush-hour blocked part of Route 9 on the Jersey Shore, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.

The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, on Route 9 northbound near Strickland Road in Howell Township, initial reports said. At least one lane was blocked.

There were injuries, an unconfirmed report said.
